Not quite. I said in the grand scheme of things, humans dying wouldn't really change much. I don't think humans are going anywhere anytime soon(except for space, but that's not pertinent). Cycling dominant species is common in nature, sure, but we've got a rather large foot in the door and have finagled a longer stay at the top of the chain.

I honestly don't know what he's trying to say anymore. People having been calling mass extinction and the end times since we knew there was such a thing as mass extinction and end times. This is not new in any way. If something does end up happening I'm just going to have to quote Jurassic Park. Life finds a way.

Extinction events most probably had survivors, wont be hard too hard to survive with tech, unless its a nuclear, or volcanic winter.
