the title says right, I don't feel comfortable talking about things like this either but here's a little bit of background:

On Wednesday I was playing games and stuff when I had a sharp pain and it felt really warm, telling me I had diarrhoea and I needed to go, but I couldn't because my sister was in the bathroom and she was for the next hour or so. I decide to go lie down to fix it, and it worked, so I continue on as is and didn't really need to go anymore. Friday comes and jesus forget it hits again countless times throughout the day, I had to ask to go home but my mom wasn't there to come bring me home so I had to deal with it, I get home and went to the bathroom it wasn't diarrhoea and I felt fine afterwards so I go lie down to sleep cause I'm tired

I wake up and oh boy, I have a fever and I feel like I'm gonna vomit. The funny thing is though, I didn't vomit and now I'm completely over that as we speak, the cramps however came back right after this and I've been going to the bathroom non-stop every 10 minutes for the past 6 hours, and it's just water (like I'm not kidding it's literally very acidy feeling brown coloured water) which is even more worrying because I fear I'm gonna get dehydrated. I'm also worrying however because I feel I clogged and forgeted my intestines up by not going, it's obvious I have the diarrhoea here and I should probably go to see a doctor but it's 12am.

I assume some of you have probably had this before, so I ask you is there anything I can do about this? as in eating something or having confirmation that it'll pass and there's nothing to worry about, or is that not the case?

its your inner englishman trying to escape

just keep drinking water.

yeah just drink water

Like mentioned, drink water.

You've prolly got a bug, and it'll pass soon.

Eat well, too. (Soups, greens, etc.)

that haggis got to you
im no doctor, but im pretty sure its the stomach flu, it was exactly the same for me but instead i threw up 6 times to the point whenever i drank water it would come back up 1-2 hours later, whats worse was it was during the night so i got no sleep whatsoever

my only advice is to drink water and take meds, thats what i did and it went away in 2-3 days

dont forget to drink water

Yeah go the the dr you have free healthcare. Unless you've had this for weeks then it's probably something that's not serious like a bug

I've been drinking lucozade (which is gatorade) because that normally helps with stomach-aches

I'll definitely switch that for water then but there's no soup in my house, only solid food really

Actually drinks like lucozade are better for when you have loose stools, they replace the electrolytes you're losing through diarrhoea

A bug, virus, infection...
so bug is an umbrella term for sickness?

Uum no? Not all sicknesses are caused by infection, some are genetic like cancer...

Infections are when other small living organisms (pathogens) enter and multiply inside the body. They release toxins that make you feel sick.
