y'know, I hate living in an area where the power lines are surrounded by trees

I'm at work right now but I heard that all of the power lines near my house have been struck down :/

I lost power for 9 hours from the previous t-storm that hit Thursday because of a tree that covered the entire road being down (and said tree also knocking down the power lines)
another tree also managed to block the other way out of the neighborhood so essentially, nobody could go in or leave my neighborhood
there were also tree branches littering a lot of people's yards
...it was also the day I got off of school for summer break

My power went out for around 20 minutes on Thursday and lightning pretty much almost struck me, it always sucks when storms happen on the last day of school tho
