Author Topic: Thoughts on Commonwealth Act?  (Read 788 times)

Basically some citizens want (I'm not sure about the government) to be able to travel freely(without visas, etc. etc.) between the four countries; UK, Australia, Canada, and NZ.

There's a big push for this but there's all those concerns about terrorism and what not but I'm wondering what you guys think about this - even if you don't live in those countries.

Nah.
Seems dangerous.

Sounds cool, but terrorism is a big threat

right because air travel is just so 100% efficient about catching terrorists.

yes
worked fine for the schengen area

I live in Europe and this is already the case here.
I passed the Dutch/Belgium border twice daily for like 12 years now.
I haven't been killed by a terrorist yet.

It really isn't
Because letting anyone travel isnt a perfect recipe for disaster

You're right, it isn't. Nothing bad would come from this.

you know they're probably still going to check bags and stuff, just not paperwork

I'm all for it. I wanna be able to travel freely

To be honest if the paperwork would be the thing that stops your grand terrorist scheme you're a pretty stuff terrorist (which is ofc the best kind of terrorist).
It's not like you can just hop inside of the plane like you hop onto a bus, even without paperwork checks.

Everyone thinks terrorism is a much bigger threat than it really is
