I passed the White House with the rainbow lights yesterday B)

Why is all of this a big deal? So what if the government finally changed about .5% of the US's populations lives. How does this affect anyone on these forums besides maybe 5-6 people who aren't even close to thinking of getting married.
0.5% of people lol. Only 5-6 people on this forum, lol.

it's easy to dismiss people's liberties when you look at them as a statistic i guess

The statistics are kind of funny, with a lot of conflicting reports/estimates. Quite likely due in no small part to the social stigma/taboo of being homoloveual.

A government survey in the UK two years ago found the figure to be about 1.5%.
The Kinsey report says 10%, but this is generally discredited for having very poor selection.
Then there are others which estimate around 5-7.5%.

I think 10% would be a safe upper limit to assume.
Meanwhile at least 1% for the lower limit isn't bad, but probably further out from the truth.

Not taking into consideration all the extinct, unused and bot accounts, there are 95060 users on this forum.
At 1% we can expect 950 gay users.
5% we can expect 4750~ gay users.
And 10% is 9500 users.

I think 5% is a good estimate.

I don't like lesbians and gays, it goes against my religion, but so be it

Might I add that the only two times it was said bad-bad (not a sin, really) was in Leviticus, where most of that stuff was never put into the old testament and when Leviticus was a book for the Levites (also a couple passages    +- actually go against stuff like wearing two materials in one clothing article or planting two seeds in the same soil), a theocratic group of priests or something and when Paul grouped it in with adultery and some other stuff.
Jesus never actually said anything about it.
