What are you talking about, according to the game hud healthbar, his hp is full.

Proceeding forth, both The Protagonist and ED-E encountered a large group of convicts, including their leader, although you dealt with the large group quickly-- you still got shot, so you should probably heal up soon before you leave Primm.



In another move that surprised nobody ever, The Protagonist walked outside of the Vicki & Vance Casino, going down the road on his way to New Vegas.



After a wee bit of walking, The Protagonist is greeted by a cliff which overlooks the way you need to go.



: Should I take a small detour and head through the 'desert', or should I keep on track and follow the road..?



Additional Quest: Find Vance's gun and bring it back to the display case in the casino.

The Protagonist slowly descends from the cliff, heading towards the road and walking down, spotting two convicts walking down the road-- you have no choice other than to kill them in order to proceed.



Walking further down, The Protagonist sees a building that he can enter.





But to his surprise, two Jackal Gang members pop out of cover, firing at The Protagonist-- you fire back quickly, taking one of them down while ED-E reduces the second gang member to ashes.



The Protagonist loots the dead bodies, finding 13 caps, (4) Dynamite, (2) 9mm Pistols, (1) Cowboy Repeater, (1) Purified Water and (1) Single Shotgun.

Do you wish to enter the building or continue on your way?

loving hell, it seems like the Gas Station is infested with radscorpions and they have all spotted The Protagonist, what do you do in this dire situation.

(PS: In certain scenarios, I will allow you to equip different weapons 'before combat', you'd do well to remember this because it can save the life of the protagonist.)

Turn ED-E into a bomb and throw him at the scorpions

Use some dynamite to deal with the ones that are still quite far away, and use whichever Single Shotgun that has better condition to blow away any scorps that get close.

The Protagonist equips his Single Shotgun, firing at the radscorpions which get close to him, but also tossing dynamite at far-away radscorpions.



After fighting for a bit, all the Radscorpions are dead, you can now continue on your trip to New Vegas-- or stay here and loot more items.



The Protagonist looks around, finding (2) Stimpaks and 12 caps.

Loot them, and then take a look inside the building.  It's getting late, rest is needed, and that bullet wound is still untreated.  I am sure if you clear it out, you can find some place to take a quick nap and treat any sort of damage done.
