people should be lucky that even though it was an islamic country all they got was attacks via nonlethal crowd control methods. i'm simply surprised no one set off a bomb or started shooting guns.
its also quite a double standard how little left-wing america ever condemns the treatment of gays under islam. its almost always about how evil the homophobic priveleged white male christians are. personally i blame that lack of outcry on their belief that islam should be accepted as a religion of peace, and their meanwhile insistence that christianity is a religion of hate and intolerance.
stereotypes stereotypes. no one is calling any religion a religion of intolerance and hate, it's just that if we're in america we're going to speak about things that happen in our country, not some other country's beliefs. there is a lot of family values in russia and pretty much every country that's not developed, yet no ones talks about it.
im (not) surprised at how little outrage there was over the bombing of a pro-CIA magazine in istanbul back in 2014, i mean what happened to freedom of speech, i guess if its someone with a different political opinion that gets attacked for expressing their opinions i guess people don't care, talk about double standards huh. granted the people who got bombed at the pro-CIA magazine were more hateful than most conservatives in the US, and everyone with common sense should disagree with their opinions, they don't deserve to get bombed if they were only expressing their opinion
