Author Topic: Looking for a decent messenger bag around $50 or less  (Read 1297 times)

So I'm probably going to be ordering a Surface 3 on my birthday (Thursday! :D), and I want a bag that I can carry it and some other stuff like a couple books or something in. I want something that's going to durable most of all, but I don't want some bland looking bag with huge ugly side-squeeze buckles or something. I would like it to be relatively stylish. Canvas or leather is fine, but probably canvas because leather isn't going to be good in my price range, if there's even any.

Anyone know of any good messenger style bags at or around $50 or less?

I've been looking at these, but IDK.

Zebella Vintage Pu Leather Briefcase Shoulder Business Laptop Messenger Bag
Zenness Canvas Hiking Traveling Satchel Messenger Bag
TOP-BAG® Men/Women's Vintage Canvas Leather Schoolbag Shoulder Crossbody Messenger Bag (this one is kinda expensive, so probably not)
Berchirly Vintage Military Men Canvas Messenger Bag
EcoCity Canvas Travel Crossbody Satchel Messenger Bag
Rapiddominance Classic Military Messenger Bag(Not really the style I want, but the cost and reviews are attractive).

I'd really like to keep it below $50, but if I see something that's a phenomenal deal, I do have more money to spend.

Anyone have any thoughts/suggestions/experience with any of the bags above?

i have a $50 swiss gear messenger bag. it's big enough to fit a ~15" laptop, but for me it was able to fit a three subject notebook, my engineering notebook, my math notebook, an omnibus, and some other stuff. dunno if it's still sold, though

can't tell if you're telling op he's gay or you're actually serious
bags are... gay?

but they're expensive

My messenger bag is just a gas mask pouch that I use to hold my stuff

you mean a purse, bby i can hook you up real nice. look at this stuff i whipped up:

Slightly unrelated, but which Surface 3?

2 gb version non pro

EDIT: If you're still on the fence about the Surface Pro 3 I still say get it. My boss uses one (he's an architect) and he loves it a lot.

I'm sorta on a triple fence of whether to go for the regular Surface 3, the Pro, or wait to see what they announce for the 4.

Ah. Well, lemme remind you that if you wait for new technology to be released, you're always going to be on the verge of a new release of a replacement or competitor.

Anyway, the surface 3 is lighter, quieter, and smaller than pro 3, so if portable is more important than power, get that. If you need power (more than word documenets, excel, powerpoint, web browsing, that kinda thing), then get the Pro 3.

Do you have a Microsoft store near you? I'd suggest going there and checking the two out in person if you do.

I do have one near here, I think they both might be at Best Buy too. In-person seems like the best way to decide though. Thanks.
