Author Topic: How will WW3 start?  (Read 4431 times)

Given the rise of anarchists and fascists in Europe (especially Greece), hostilities between China and Taiwan and China and Japan, the Korean Peninsula, the Ukrainean invasion, and more problems in the Middle East to count (including Iran, CIA, and Israel/Palestine), and the Kashmir, how will World War III start?

when half life 3 is released

definitely somewhere in the middle east

To start off.

Terrorist groups will probably cause some sort of colossal murder of a very important person in Europe, pull a "No Russian," and then proceed to leave behind a man of american/Russian/British identity. The war will cause disruption in Europe, causing other countries to get angry and fight to end it.

Then we, mighty, mighty, Americans will get in it, showing off our Superpowerness.

Russia and China will combine to forget everyone over.

Sweden will just enjoy their free healthcare.

The end.

In my opinion, it will result from the United States getting too nosy in foreign conflicts (either CIA or Israel), drawing the West into a smaller war, which will then escalate, possibly with other somewhat powerful countries backing the other side. With increasing globalization, some parties may have connections around the world, resulting in terrorism that brings the fight to home soil. This will be the beginning of a full war.

in other words, US intervenes, terrorists bring the war to an already rather politically-charged west, bam. war.

Russia and China will combine to forget everyone over.
russia and china haven't been buddy-buddy since 1960

china is more aligned to the united states than russia now due to our intertwined economic endeavors

as much as china and russia enjoy keeping the west in their place, china would rather side with the world's largest economy than russia's piddly pinrichard

Some sort of false flag type thing

this may be true, but in most UN votes or vetoes, China and Russia vote the same and usually against the 3 Western powers

in any case, while a proper WW3 would be obviously bad, a second Cold War would actually be a great boost to scientific advancement

some silly thing in the middle east
