Author Topic: Help me decide what i should buy.  (Read 1551 times)

I have 50$, should i spent it on Minecraft (PC) and a 20$ Steam Card? or Should i just get a 50$ Steam Card?
i have every other version of minecraft but i never had the pc version of it.
what do you think i should get?

well if you like minecraft get minecraft

pc version is the best version after all, so, if you like the other versions, you should probably get the original

no one else is gonna say this so i will, minecraft
i don't understand all the 'MINCECRAP SUCKS' when the game itself is pretty fun
also mod support

there's plenty of things you can buy with $20 on steam

so do minecraft + $20 steam card

If you plan on doing a lot of modding with Minecraft then go ahead, otherwise just get the $50 Steam card.

yeah if you're not going to mod minecraft then just dont get it, just a waste
but if you are go for it

almost non-existant
the fact you can do it by slapping in the files and a folder makes me think otherwise

From what I remember you had to open the jar file with winrar or some stuff, delete some file in that and then place your mods in. Or you had to use a 3rd party launcher.

Its been made much easier with a lot of mods

the current main way is using a 3rd party launcher
the old main way was to open the .jar file, delete the manifest file, and drag and drop in whatever files you need to
it really isn't that difficult, it's almost as easy as blockland modding

and there were mods to add in mod support, just putting zipped files in a mods folder

even without modding, minecraft is a good choice
time spent is more based on the community of the server you find rather than the game you're playing, kind of like BL

what
he said he had all other versions of minecraft besides PC
why would he buy PC to play without mods when he can play without mods on any other platform

Save your money.  Put it in the bank.

ye you just have to get mods in order to get mods easier
