Ares2 - I gues telling rules to the server is bannable?

So i had this little story tonight and sure i know i was getting alot of hate in the past but i have changed now.
There was this server hosted by Ares2's BEDROOM FORTWARS!
So of course wanted to see what is it/how good it is.
The server was decent (if you think static maps bedroom + a really admin that does not give any warnings is fine),so after i have made a base
i decided to use a little bit of VCE (i got banned for using it)
And of course,i did not get any warning.

But now your saying "But luigi you dumbass that was in the rules"... right?
WRONG!
The server had only 2 rules:
One was to make sure you have a base and another one was not to build kill.
A little backstory there,i was not banned for VCE but for "buildkilling"

Anyway later i asked the admin about the rules ^^^^
He told me to read the welcome message,after that even though i knew the rules.
I read the rules to everybody and told them that they can spam,use jets,VCE and stuff like that
And that the rules say nothing like "you cant do it"

After i said that i told the real rules.
That you must have a base and not kill people with lig-

This is the kind of bullstuff i hate, ESPECIALLY Because it can't be stopped.
I've had this happen to me so many danm times.
When i was a idiot and played Iphone's City RPG, I read the rules, and NOWERE Did it say, No killing labourers. Now, of course, thats Cruel, but, I did it, and i got banned for it, And of course the Owner or admins didn't Give a flying forget about it. This stuff sucks, and as soon as you get banned for something that wasnt a rule, Don't go back, because, 99.9% Of the time, its going to be some Turd who doesn't give a toss.

These are the only listed rules for the server. I was banned on my Steam account for one day for not obeying the rules. The only thing I had done in the server was put one 32x32 baseplate and a vehicle spawn down, and I was about to start building something on it when Ares jumped over to it and banned me.

I came back to the server under a different account and reread the rules to make sure I didn't miss anything. I asked Ares if vehicles were OK to be used and he said no.



If using vehicles is a bannable offense then disable them and put that in the rules.

Ok, You have a good point, Still, it's shameful they sort of find ways to ban people for things that they dont have a rule about. For example, The kind of players that Know how to spell, and play well, don't get to enjoy a good server, if they get banned by a rule they dont know about. THAT ISNT THERE,

Also, People can think for thereself. Although, they'll probally say, Vehicles are Allowed, right? and Get banned for it.
If that server is that kind of server.

Ares has a fine server, but he bans without questioning the accuser. Definitely a flaw in his administration.

I agree with the OP. Ares2 is a certified dumbass. I will definitely avoid joining his shambles of a server.

The server rules were misleading,if reading rules = ban forever...
