This is like when Nero watched Rome burn.

People are moving to other sites like voat.co and Snapzu which are reddit lookalikes with more free speech. Looks lime Reddit is going the way of Digg.

no its not lol
Yeah, now it's not. Time passes, in case you forgot.

Should have fired your most popular employee for no reason.
The likelihood that it was "for no reason" is incredibly low. They're a business, at the end of the day.

it was a theme, it was never actually banned
they got rid of it

Right now, everything is pointing to them wanting more and more community unfriendly things which she pushed against so they terminated her and dissolved her position without warning.

r/IAmA is back

Most subreddits are returning but some are staying dark, and a select few are just now going dark

A former Reddit employee just had their account deleted when doing an AMA.

Said employee got terminated by Pao herself because she/he had leukemia and they couldn't work for a little bit, even after she REASSURED the employee they wouldn't be let off.

...Then that's a reason. Even if it's not one you agree with, a corporate decision will always have some form of reasoning behind it.
You're going to have to define "community unfriendly" things for me though, because I really don't know what they could possibly do that is so horrible.

I'm not gonna write you the loving history books, they've been schmucks for a year or so now. If you wanna educate yourself, then be my guest.

I just look at the trinity /r/homestuck, /r/jailbreak, and /r/Polandball subreddits most of the time so I'm fine.

So you say, but all I've seen is random subreddits throwing hissy fits at various occurences of consisting of basically nothing. It's not really enough of a concern of mine to justify going out of my way to find out what's happening though, so if you also don't care enough to write a sentence or two about it, then oh well I guess.

Only subreddit I really pay attention to is the Super Best Friends one, which had a thread of "should we go private" that was instantly met with a response of "why the hell would we do that." I'm glad that the only community I care about on the site is an intelligent one.

Ffs, default subreddits shut down due to lack of communication from the admins and due to the sacking of an extremely popular employee. Don't start a loving argument if you don't care about the topic.

So it's the same as a bunch of kids getting mad because their friend got grounded. This is pretty much what I already understood.

...Who's arguing? I asked a question and you mysteriously refused to answer.

You should try to be less obvious when trolling.
