Poll: Have you ever felt bad about killing in a video game?

I played GTA V for the first time yesterday. As soon as I got control of Franklin I stomped that cat in the alley to death.

Another thing, any game that gives your people names (for example, xcom or kerbal) makes me feel way more connected to them since they're "real". I usually have to suppress the urge to reload my save when one of them die

And then I felt like stuff when I got the bad ending

Not unless they're actually plot-centric characters that I like and had to kill like the Camus's Sable mission.

other than that I don't care for killing innocents in video games if it'll get me stars like in GTA

I also feel bad when my followers in any games die, like rebels in HL2, or companions in the fallout series. They put their trust in me, and died for my mistakes.

Only really if they're plot centric characters that sre really likable and stuff or just characters that you've bonded with really well. Otherwise I could care less about killing npcs, unless they're kids. But it's not like there are many games that let you kill kids anyway.

I feel bad when the grunts in halo get scared and run away but after i spare them they come back and start shooting me .....
