What are forum Self Deletes?

I've heard things about forum Self Deletes. What are they? Just wanted to know.

Normally by posting research or gore or being a serious ass

They are committed by people who are too blind to see the 'log out' button.

Normally, committing forum Self Delete involves a person spamming multiple topics (or creating new topics) with posts contained with shock content, research, or a mass of words.  These people are undesirables, and are more than often mentally ill.

when you purposefully get yourself banned
it's stupid, because if you spam or whatever it just gets deleted and everyone forgets about you anyway and when you want to come back (which a lot of people do for some reason after getting banned) nobody want you around. it's easier and smarter to just log out. At least that way you arent throwing away your money.

pretty much just deliberately breaking the forum rules to get banned or for attention

it's the national pastime here at the blockland forums. we crave to see morons post research and gore so we can get boners that we clearly can't get from actual research sites.

i tried it once and basically lost 10$ so its not a thing to do

Simply telling everyone you're leaving counts as a Self Delete. You don't necessarily have to do something terrible.

Deliberately getting yourself banned on purpose, or in other words going off with a bang before you leave. Except that it isn't really a bang when your spree is at midnight and gets deleted an hour afterwards.

I think betel's was the only one that lasted longer than an hour. His went from like 1AM to 11AM and the forums were pretty much unusable until Badspot got on and deleted the posts.
