Twix bars are made with stuffty chocolate (or stuffty amounts of), biscuits, have caramel in them for no sane reason, and are as thick as your erect richard.  They literally have to be sold two at a time.

KitKat bars are waffles in a solid block of chocolate without any extra bullstuff sprinkled on top.  This combination actually tastes decent, and is usually sold as one long bullion.  Those are very good reasons KitKat survived longer in the poll.
