those were part of an established series that had good games and Sega forgeted up the premise with every new release.

yeah but sonic games suck

starbound had an amazing premise, was hyped up more than any sonic game and blew past its preorder stretch goals in days. it was way more of a disappointment than sonic.

I think this is what bothers me.  Starbound wasn't a bad game.  Yes, some parts are squandered, and the dev team could have made it better, but it's a master piece compared to Superman 64.
