Author Topic: BL Steam Error: Could Not Save Preferences.  (Read 671 times)

I use Blockland through Steam on a Mac computer, and when I turn on the game, it gives me the the options to select my internet setting, and my mouse/keyboard configuration. When I get through all of these, I get a message saying that it could not saved my preferences, and I should copy the BL Folder to my applications. I did that, and it still isn't working. Suggestions, anyone?

...And please no sarcastic comments saying the source of these issues is the fact I'm a Mac user. It doesn't matter.

It's because you use a Mac.

Shouldn't this be in Help? Anyways, I'd say check to see if the Steam library directory (or wherever Blockland is installed) isn't write-protected.

Yeah, I normally don't play the Steam version. But, my desktop....version (Whatever you call it, the non-Steam one) was having a very odd issue where when I would click on bricks that weren't owned by me, my client would crash. Thats the reason I wanted the Steam version. It didn't matter if they were evented or not. But I re-installed my desktop version, and now the game is working fine. Thanks for the help anyway, guys.
