Author Topic: Animations not showing for other people [TOUHOU stuff]  (Read 7973 times)

I made Touhou playertypes, I can see their animations just fine when I host, but anyone who joins cannot see them move at all. When people who aren't the host switch away from one of them, they crash. These glitches do not affect the host.

THREE OF THESE PLAYERS work while the rest do not. There is no difference between them apart from their meshes.

This one works

This one doesn't

The things I have tried:
Redoing the entire rig and animations
Changing the animations from .dsq to inbuilt animations
Redoing the script
Using the blend file and armatures of the ones that work to replace the ones that don't

I thought I found the problem, which was that the animations were just 'look' or 'root', so I added pomp_ in front of all of them, but that only fixed three of the players, not the rest. I can't figure out what's wrong with the ones that don't work. Their models literally use the same blend file except for the meshes, and the script is identical, but three work while eight don't.
Also on an unrelated note when I insert keyframes in blender, the bone goes to that position on the frame after that instead of on the frame.

I have a long history of creating glitches that should not/cannot happen. It constitutes a large part of my life's stress.

I've experienced similar issues with some of my playertypes. The only fix I've discovered so far is to redo the rig and animations. :L

Fixed this. The problem was just updating BL.

forget forget forget it happens for the Touhou players as well for a different reason which I'm not sure of

Still having this issue?

Use the .DSQs, not built in animation.

I knew that already. The inbuilt was wishful thinking because of repeated failure.
