The 2nd one also talks about "underlying misogyny" in a lot of the popular subs... bullstuff, absolutely not. It's called cherrypicking. A small portion of people in reddit are tribal and misogynist, yes, but so are people in real life. They're just not as open about it.
It's better that people be allowed in reddit and be told by others that their views are wrong than to be arbitrarily silenced.
