Author Topic: Need a LEGAL cheap way to download music for offline listening  (Read 1274 times)

Title says all.

Originally, I had just been shopping through Google Play looking for apps to act as a middleman in music downloads. I found one that worked well that was free but I was starting to feel sketchy about it. It allowed downloads for anyone to use for no charge and I was worried about piracy. It did have ads to support it, but I was unsure still. Just recently though, it got kicked off of Google Play. That was the last straw so I'm not using it anymore.

So I was wondering what other people have been using. I don't mind subscriptions if they're small; I just want to be able to download music which I can transfer between my tablet, ps3, and computers.

Newgrounds.

Enough said.

title of the app?

i'll find a APK for you

edit: if it's copyrighted music tho I'm not helping you out

there's no legal way to download copyrighted music sold by a record company for free, unless they offer free previews, in which case it's legal to download that and store it, though it will undoubtedly be lower quality than the master.

It was called Music Ocean. If you hit the download link, it'll tell you that it was removed from Google Play. And yeah, I'm totally done with it so don't worry about it.

i am not certain that is legal
your computer basically does that anyway when it buffers the video
or just listen to music from OC remix, newgrounds, royalty free, etc if you want to be super concerned about that kind of thing

i am not certain that is legal
it is for songs not under copyright, according to listen to youtube

It's 100% legal to take music that's currently playing on your computer, and play it on your computer. What would be illegal about that?
