Author Topic: "Unturned" Weapon pack!  (Read 8668 times)




Alright, so I've been playing a lot of Unturned and when I say a lot I mean ALOT. So I thought why not make a weapon pack full of these weapons!? Bam, the Unturned weapon pack will have MOST of the weapons in the game... I wont be able to add the attachments to them but I will hopefully get sounds and iron sights!! I have one weapon modeled now just not scripted. Just note I am not the best modeler, nor am I the best scripter so I obviously wont upload anything till they work 100 percent!!

And yes I know... I've had some people come into my server and say "Stop what you are doing on this server and just go download Unturned."

While that might be. I made this pack for the joys of making these and because some people cant actually run Unturned, but they can run blockland! So please don't just come in to say just download the game.

Ive been talking with a friend who is helping with scripting and he has done so much for the pack! A couple of updates that we plan to get in soon! I never even intended on adding ammo! But now it is!

Ammo 100 %
Iron Sights 75 %
Melee items 15 %

WIP IDEAS:

Medical items 50 % chance of actually happening.
Melee items 75 % chance of actually happening

We wouldn't have been able to get the ammo script and Iron sight if Gravity Cat didnt supply us with a code! So A HUGE thanks to him and all of the others who were willing to help!

Yeah, Unturned doesn't really use trigger guards.

The reason unturned weapons don't have trigger guards is because the player model's hands cover up a large portion of the grip and where the trigger guard would be, so there's no point in creating trigger guards if you cant see them but,with blockland, the players hand doesn't cover up so much space, so you can still be able to see the trigger guard and parts of the grip.
It would look kind of weird if the default gun didn't have a trigger guard, like this: and therefore would fit in with unturned just fine.

I think adding trigger guards would make it look a little less awkward in the player's hands, and you don't have to detail them too much either; Something like copying the default gun's trigger and trigger guard would fit in perfectly with your models, but the decision is yours.

Treti,i just got the best idea ever for this mod.
Create a player model that has hands like in unturned.
I guess that would make it better.
