But there are other anise liquors, such as absinthe
I've not tried Jägermeister or Absinthe, but if they taste even slightly of aniseed I don't want anything to do with it.
Just the smell of aniseed is horrible to me.
I'm not sure when I first had alcohol in any form.
I know a family story, which might have been about me, but possibly someone else, which is that a family friend dipped my dummy into the head of her beer and gave it to me, and I seemed to like it (but didn't have a lot).
But that might not have been me. And eitherway it's not exactly an exciting story.
I've tasted bits of beer and wine though at various ages as a child from my parents drinks with their permission, but as a child I found them all pretty disgusting.
But I've been drinking things like Lambrusco with certain dinners for several years, and drinking pints (although not many in a single sitting) for the last couple of years, as well as other drinks.
