i was going to join the space collab, but i didn't due to realizing i still have a terrible work ethic and i would just let people down, but looking at it now i'm pretty glad.
here's my take on it, as someone who's been looking at this from the sidelines for about 2 years. admittedly i haven't been in the skype for a while now(not that anyone really misses me lol, i didn't say much).
the reason i usually defended flat during past altercations was that flat was getting bullied, straight up. not in the sense he was getting shoved into lockers, but by virtue that he was chosen as the target not due to a bad attitude, but solely cus he was different - cus he likes birds. you'll get guys like c and rockinboy to try and spin it differently but it's entirely due to the fact flat likes birds and they think that's weird. so people have made fun of him, and have proceeded to do so, and contrary to popular belief; have never stopped. but i've said this plenty of times before
what's going on now is that flat is jaded. and let's be forgetin honest, is it so crazy that someone who gets ridiculed for years might not like their aggressors? is that some wild stuff? people made shrines dedicated solely to bashing this guy for liking birds and not being able to draw. he's a victim.
and now you have this group of people rooted in hating flatflyer, and now that he's speaking for himself they're fighting back, because they get a thrill out of it. why is it that flatflyer's dirty laundry is constantly aired? because people are on the watch for it. why is it that people are constantly posting when flatflyer says things? because people want justification to get their fix. why do people like madman and fist man? because they know it gets on his nerves. 90% of the drama surrounding him is due in part because people want to make it drama, so they can post funny pictures he drew and madman and etc.
and everything that's happened surrounding him is because of this group of people. they're not a clique - they're not a circlejerk - they're just there.
so yeah, i feel that flatflyer is very much not in the wrong - crazy right?
