For the past couple of days, there has been a red spot on the tip of my nose. I had assumed that it would go away on its own but I was mistaken.
This morning, I noticed that there was a painful pressure building in the afflicted area. Naturally I wanted to observe what was happening immediately, so I showed myself to the bathroom to examine my nose in the mirror. What I saw was an increasingly bulbous red bump on the tip of my nose. I had considered leaving it be and living my life as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, but ultimately, I saw it fit to put an end to this sick game.
With haste, I leaned in towards the mirror, applied both index fingers to the area surrounding the bulbous mass of flesh, and began applying force. What occurred next seemed as if it had happened in slow motion from my perspective. There was an audible *POP*, and a chunk of solid puss blasted against the mirror with a stream of liquid goo trailing behind it, squirting all over what would be the cork holding back the floodgates. This triggered a reaction in the surrounding area, causing yellowish-white substances with the consistency of putty to ooze out of the pores on my nose.
It was over, and my nose was deflated. All that remained was flaccid flesh swirling around in a pool of blood before I wiped away the mess.
