It was your idea too lol
i never said to explicitly call the police on him lol

it was meant more in the way of "hey my uncle's been extremely mad at me and may hurt someone because he's here now and i wasn't told but I don't know if my aunt knew either" or something like that, not spill your beans on the floor

YOU'RE IN IT FOR THE LONG HAUL NOW, BITCH

You only told them to remain in the area and perhaps keep an eye out. You are somewhat baffled on what grounds the arrest was for.

Go with them.

The police car pulls up to the station and your uncle is calmly led into the building. You are taken into a back room where a man comes in to talk to you.

"How are you, kid?" he asks.

"Why did you arrest him?" you say.

"You called the police go keep an eye out, didn't cha?"

"Yes. I didn't say to just come right out and arrest him."

"We were not going to do that. However, we searched up the U-Haul plates to find that he has an arrest warrant for attempting to harm you in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Is that true?"

"Yes..."

"On top of the matter, an officer dispatched to watch your location saw him leading you out to his truck at your great aunt's house. Is that true?"

You don't answer right away but affirm it.

"We couldn't just let him take you when he has an arrest warrant for harming you and you gave us an alarming phone call about him showing up at your location."

"I didn't really intend for this to happen right now though..."

"Would you like to press charges? We can have him locked up and out of your life until you're in your adult years."

You think about your confrontation and hiding from your uncle in your mom's apartment. You remember the eerie smiles. However, you also remember the heartfelt confession at your aunt's house. You also remember how much he loved your mom.

The pressure is real.

Jeez

you really know how to set this stuff up don't you

...
"What do you say, uncle?"

...We have to arrest him for the warrent but he was just too upset and knows what he did.

Lets let him out and exuse yourself for not knowing of your good intentions. Like a true canadian!

what about a restraining order.
we don't lock him up and we don't need to risk our life in case he was planning something

... He needs to be arrested due to the warrant, like CRIT said...
...
...
Throw him in just for the warrant.

remember the guy who dropped the charges for us stabbing his legs

Talk to your uncle. Ask him if he is willing to go with you to find your father and CALMLY speak with him. Make your uncle promise not to murder your father because he is the only one that could give you an answer on the Rico thing.

If your uncle hates you now and you suspect that he will do something to hurt you again then have him put in prison. Bring something to defend yourself with if you end up travelling with him, just in case.
