We need a better goal than just going to the west coast. We need to find out what Rico means and if you have inherited something in New Mexico. Who knows what could be out there assuming that it is property. Maybe you should track down your uncle and/or father and see what's up with them

You go into your room and get the safe and the photo of your mom in the car with the safe. You give it to your aunt hoping for answers. Her eyes light up.
"Oh yes! I remember that car! It was your father's pride and joy. Your parents had been such a happy couple. They were so ecstatic when they discovered that they were having you!"
You show her the safe and point it out in the picture. She doesn't have any clue about what could be inside, but she says that Rico had something to do with an area of land that your father was affiliated with. She says that he originally intended to raise the family out west, but his sudden disappearance cancelled those plans.

You ask your aunt if she has heard from your uncle this past week. She smiles.

The doorbell rings. She stops talking and smiles again. She walks to the door and opens it. The outside sunlight compared to the darker house only reveals the profile of the visitor. Beyond him on the street, you see a U-Haul truck with a broken headlight. Your uncle walks in and greets your aunt politely. He looks past her and sees you in the living room. Outside, more relatives begin to arrive, including the birthday boy. They come inside and everyone just stands around the front door hugging, talking, and laughing. Your uncle joins in, but repeatedly looks up and over everyone at you, smiling each time.
