I want to know, what previous years were they around, and how long did it take for it to go away?

EDIT: "Obama now supports CISA and has been calling for its passage."

Holy forget Obama

This is the only time I've ever said or thought "Thanks Obama".

Tell them to respect your privacy! Just enter your full name, email, address, and zip code.
As much as I want to sign this I just don't feel comfortable entering that information.
it's legally required for petitions apparently, and considering it's a website encouraging privacy it would be rather stupid of them to use it maliciously

This is the only time I've ever said or thought "Thanks Obama".
I used to think obama wasnt that bad before this :(

I'm moving there so that there will be less mondays in my life.

Does this affect UK?
the UK has their most recently-elected Prime Minister David Cameron who wants to completely outlaw encryption; which is an absolutely ridiculous prospect. I sincerely hope he doesn't try anything of the sort.

It mainly allows for data-handling giants like Facebook and Google to be more easily pressurized into giving out sensitive information about browsing habits to the government since there can be no legal consequences.

It's the same thing without the P.

Apparently removing letters makes things worse. I'm not joking.

For Christ's sake we'll end up in some kinda totalitarian future if this goes through.
