Author Topic: fitness motivator's rant about overwieght and obese people  (Read 2647 times)

She posts stuff to Tumblr about how it's possible to be slightly chubby and still be healthy, and that people like her are often judged without reason, which might be seen as pride. Yeah fatness is often a sign of laziness and bad health, but you shouldn't immediately judge people who only seem a little chubby.

well, many times effort translates to physical attractiveness

most people are attracted to well-fit people over chubby people.

obviously you shouldn't worry much because someone is really shallow if they're ONLY attracted to people physically and not personality-wise, but if it's really an issue, then a little exercise/dieting doesn't hurt and can make a big difference.

But judging people for not maintaining a stellar magazine cover body is stupid.

I agree. A lot of models today seem more like skeletons than healthy women. The girl I know jogs a lot and eats fruit, which is difficult to do during college. She's nice and respectable, and I would feel angry if anyone judged her on her outward appearance.

And?

i know thats feminism tho but still
thats gross

mostly obese people use the "im too lazy" thing because even walking up the stairs, they're tired as fuk

-snip-
See this is the bad kind of fat the guy talked about. A perfect example.

of course the south has the most obese people lmao
we can't help it we love our delicious fatty foods and generic mountain dews

Ronald Mcdonald is trying to get out.

There is more obesity nowadays probably due to the higher abundance of food. But I agree, being overweight is not healthy and therefore should not be considered ok.

Yeah idk...I mean it doesn't feel very good to be made fun of for your weight, but I know plenty of obese people that are entirely content with being the way they are. They don't care that they are fat, as long as they can eat three pizzas a day. Honestly, a lot of obese people are willingly obese.
