i'm guessing it doesn't crash with only defaults?
if it doesn't, narrow down which addon causes it

Same thing happens with me, but mine is a runtime error. Also, I am on my old desktop PC, exactly the same addons as my laptop. To be honest, Windows Vista is still pretty new, but never crashes on my Windows 8 laptop. It always crashes on Windows Vista .-.
