Author Topic: rip apple earpods  (Read 1805 times)

after my apple earpods serving me well for nearly 3 years, they finally pooped out on me :( sound quality was surprisingly nice the whole time and the bass was amazing for earphones.

im now using my NEW pair of apple earpods that I got with my new phone in february.

it's way louder and the bass is not there

what gives, apple :( dis sucks

just tested it with two more pairs. they're all way worse sound quality wut

discuss

earpods are good because you can listen to stuff in them and other people cant

i hate apple earbuds because they don't have the rubber things which makes them really uncomfortable

those things

i have these 1980's Quasar stereo headphones (that im actually listening to right now), they have heavenly sound quality at the expense of bleeding out sound, BADLY

i hate apple earbuds because they don't have the rubber things which makes them really uncomfortable

those things

holy stuff

you literally solved what makes me like them for so long

it's the rubber bits

3 years holy stuff

I'm lucky if a pair of earbuds lasts for 6 months

are you a hipster warble?

before those came into vogue i could not wear earbuds for like more than like 30 mins. seriously who the forget thought making earbuds rigid-like was a good idea?

are you a hipster warble?

I don't consider myself one no, but I do love 80's stuff, its just a hobby to me

my dad just brought home a bunch of cassettes from this guy at his job cleaning out his house, and im testing some of them out, listening to "the best of the village people"

Uhh I hate those
Apple is more comfortable to me

and then there is the sony sports headphones, earbuds and over-ears had a child together

ive never seen a pair before

Better?

i got a new pair recently (lost my old ones after they served me valiantly for a year and nine months ;-;7) and the sound quality is fine, bass is there and everything
that's an odd issue, perhaps ask apple to replace them?

why would it do it to three different pairs tho

i'm not sure, the only explanation i could think of is an issue with your phone, perhaps. unlikely though since you said the last ones were working fine.
