I wanna try this and see how building would go...~

You know? It occurred to me that this could be used not only for videos but gameplay too, by adding a loop feature or something like that you can create a better ambiance using bots as citizens (or anything you need these bots to be) that behave in a neater way than AI bots do.
Sounds great in theory, but in practice it probably wouldn't go very well. If a player happens to walk in front of the bot and delay its actions by even a second, or if the mod doesn't record correctly and it hits a streetlamp, then when the bot turns a corner or something it'll just be ramming into a wall for a while, turn, and then probably run in the middle of the street and then into another wall.

would also be awesome if you made an event to make a set bot (from a back door bot hole) to act a scene
e.g.

onbotactivated > bot > actscene # [checkbox (if checked the bot will act the scene on his current position but will still be able to walk if the scene needs it, BUT, if unchecked the bot will reach the position where the scene has originally been recorded then act it) ]

this for me would be awesome
If they dont exist when it's released I'll make the events happen :D

Yea mostly this.

You mean physically walk over to its starting position? What if it's super far away (the farlands) or physically impossible?

I'll stick with my original plan of an output event that plays the scene as if you had typed in the command.
(Maybe I'll throw in some vce like a <var:br:scenePlaying> boolean)

If this is the only problem you can see, you could schedule respawning the bot if it's taking too long to get to its marker.

I made another video
Holy stuff that is cool

I think the way to fix this would be if the bot gets slowed down it would teleport to where it is supposed to be

Quick test

So I had a quick question, each time you update this mod, will the beta testers will be sent a new link, or the original link will be updated with the new mod if possible?

I was actually just thinking about that. I'm still new to this, so I don't really know what to do.

If the beta testers haven't found any outstanding problems, I was considering just releasing it publicly, but then I wouldn't know how to keep updating...

What do developers usually do?

Hmm, I say you can use Github for that solution, or Google Drive if it can update the downloads with the same link. I'm not smart, but maybe other blocklanders can help you with the code and help you make this mod better.

But if you want this to be a excellent beta, I'd say make this sweet mod a public beta and let the reports for fixes come in.

Well you could upload it to Dropbox and replace the mod there everytime you update it, for us to find out just tell here in the topic and we can download the mod on the same link but updated.

Yes I agree with Filipe.

Greek2Me also has an auto mod updater that could work with it maybe

Yeah you should use Support_Updater.
