always wanted something like this, neat

Oh damn, can we get an event trigger for recording playback? That would be stupid useful for NPCs!

A challenge would be useful with these. Players have a few bots to work with to get through an area, having to record movements for the bots to do.

So much room for activities!!

Holy, this is so useful! Videos will be flawless with this awesome mod!

Definitely signing up for the beta.

Seems a little complex IMO. I'd rather get my friends to help with my videos.

lol it's easier than you think and even easier than acting with friends

I can confirm. The only problem is that rotation looks pretty artificial and obviously not everything is implemented yet.

I have an idea for this mod, why not add keybindings for all those pesky commands? It would provide so much use to me, thanks for the link by the way.

I can't seem to get weapons to work correctly. I'm guessing it hasn't been implemented yet?

Planned:
Walking
Head Turning
Changing Avatar
Item support
Vehicle Support
Custom playback range
Keybinds
File Saving
Emotes / Talk anim
Events
Record camera?
GUI?

so i found multiple bugs

1. sometimes the timer is glitched and /endscene will not stop it and you can't use any other filmbots feature
Unable to reproduce. Has anyone else had this problem?

2. when trying to record with several specific scenes at once, most of the time it will not load all of them or only a single scene
I'm guessing you were trying '/filmwithscene 1 3 6 7' ? It currently only supports one scene or all scenes, but custom playback range is planned (see above).

Quote
3. bot sync when recording with other scenes is saved on each recording so the more you record, the less precise the bot sync will result (use static stored data when /filmwithscene occurs rather than saving new data for existing scenes)
It is static data; The scenes are not re-recorded each time you use '/filmwithscene'. That command basically just executes /filmscene and /playscene simultaneously so you can get the scenes lined up.

Perhaps its the server slowing down trying to compensate for all those bots?

I made this video, it's not that great but I tried.

Yes, I figured that 2 of the bots aren't looking at each other in one part, it was the mod's issue. Not my keys nor my mouse.

You know? It occurred to me that this could be used not only for videos but gameplay too, by adding a loop feature or something like that you can create a better ambiance using bots as citizens (or anything you need these bots to be) that behave in a neater way than AI bots do.

Hey, could I beta test this? It seems like an amazing addon and it will really help with solo videos. I sent you a PM two days ago.

would also be awesome if you made an event to make a set bot (from a back door bot hole) to act a scene
e.g.

onbotactivated > bot > actscene # [checkbox (if checked the bot will act the scene on his current position but will still be able to walk if the scene needs it, BUT, if unchecked the bot will reach the position where the scene has originally been recorded then act it) ]

this for me would be awesome
