Nothing's wrong with your computer. It's just taking a few steps to conserve power.

This happened to me with my monitor. The thing you're plugging the HDMI/whatever cable into isn't working properly. Plug it in somewhere else.

First off, this belongs in off-topic.
Second, check all connections to make sure they are secure. If your monitor has different inputs, make sure you selected the one your PC is plugged into.
