mine are pretty lame but im sure you guys have some pretty interesting close to death stories

so i almost drowned at the water park when i was 7
weak i know but the house almost caught on fire when i was like 10 and i was right in front of the fire but being my stupid self i just stared and it burned my shoe, which i threw into the fire making it bigger (i am a dumbass) but the fire was put out a few minutes later. i dont remember what the cause was but im pretty sure it was someone forgot something on the stove?

There was one case in which I was headed to work, and if I was 5 minutes later going down that highway, I would have been part of the most deadly car crash of the year. A truck fell over, broke the lane, and crushed multiple cars. I just barely missed it.

in 1st grade my appendix burst. the doctors all said that i should have died from it, but somehow on my skinny 6 year old body the toxins all got trapped in a pocket of fat and the surgery went just fine
