even if it is a disorder, what difference does it make? it doesn't even matter, honestly. to call it a disorder would imply that there's something distinctly detrimental, and in short there's nothing wrong with being gay.

You're not a doctor, you don't have a loving PHD in Psychology, you haven't done clinical studies with other doctors and you haven even gotten a theory on why it is a disorder. You just have a random opinion and deem it as a disorder just because you think you can. You literally just can't call it a disorder because it isn't.

I saw an interesting preliminary study awhile back that was suggesting that homoloveuality is actually a psychological thing, and it's not something people are "born with". It listed things that happen in early childhood such as: traumatizing experiences with the opposite love, spending excessive amounts of time with the opposite love etc. Pretty interesting I thought.

That's not what I'm getting at. Maybe if the human population were reduced to like 10 people it might come into play, but with 7 billion folks on this planet and a consistently increasing population, homoloveuality has very little bearing on the survival of the species as a whole. A couple dudes porking each other doesn't mean that they're any more handicapped than some 17 year old kid who can't control himself in the internet and like cartoon ponies.

And I don't think that you believing it's a disorder really matters at all. You aren't a doctor, it's really not your place to decide what is and what isn't a disorder. It seems kinda silly to apply your own definition to things that are already very clearly defined by people who know what they're talking about, no?
