Well, it was nice knowing ya.

OT: Last time I heard a loud noise in my neighborhood, it turned out that a house had exploded because some idiots tried to get high off of methane and/or propane.

There are people around me who shoot guns (including my dad). There is someone out there who shoots something that sounds like a fricken cannon. It is a deafening boom that resounds through the hills and off surfaces and the echo can be heard for nearly 10 seconds afterward.

i hear what sounded like gunshots a few months ago, a bike tire exploding at like 9 pm a few months ago, and electrical wires buzzing like heck the next street over which caused a fire iirc

well it definitely wasn't a gunshot, but it doesn't matter now. the police never came and it seems like the operator didn't really care either
