Oh yeah uh, I saw two funnel clouds yesterday woo contribution
I saw and meant to post in that topic but didn't bother logging in. Neat find. It looked like the smaller one was probably the "satellite" of the two.

Nah it was definitely two separate funnels in the same system. I'm inclined to think that the storms that rolled through were supercells (just by eyeing the structure of the clouds after they rolled through), but I never had a radar all day. No tornado warnings were ever issued in my area either. I'm pretty sure they weren't our routine squall lines because I never saw the bowed cloud formations on the leading edge and it didn't just keep raining for hours.

I was locked and loaded yesterday but no storms reached me until the middle of the night. This system passed too far to the north.

you should probably add the storm prediction center (spc.noaa.gov) to the actual OP
i use it alot and its a gud resource m8

No stop dying.

In news for me I've been eyeing my first equipment for storm chasing. I'm hoping to maybe do some more actual work with it next spring. I'm getting a laptop soon so I'll be installing software, I should be getting a smartphone with a hotspot so that I can have internet on the road, and I think I at least want to get a NOAA weather radio to store in the car (been looking at crank/solar powered model), a digital anemometer with magnetic fasteners so I can put it on and take it off without hassle, a dash camera, and possibly some sort of communications device like a CB radio so I can listen in on police and truck drivers in case they see something interesting.

I kind of went on a voyage today and covered almost 30 miles. I got off work 90 minutes early and noticed some dark defined clouds rolling in on the way home. I continued past my house and drove right through the brunt of it and zigzagged my way along the back of it focusing on the rain free northwest side. I saw a lowering in the clouds from about 10 miles off but had poor view of it due to trees. The storms were not supposed to be severe but I decided to practice and see if I could get closer to that area. I used some of my knowledge of the winding roads, which all have names like O, N, 30, HH, NN, 109, 141, F, B, A, Z, BB, etc to name just a few. My knowledge could not have been any better. I wound up just a mile or so from the lowering in the clouds right on the back side of it as it headed away from me. Perfect tier location for a real life severe storm situation.

i saw some clouds today. it looked like it was gonna rain but it didn't.

sunset beautiful af no homo

very cool

I loved storm chasing and meteorology around age 8 to probably 11, but for some reason I sort of just lost interest in it at some point. I still find it pretty cool however.

boo
only US weather. :C
feel free to post radar loops and news about Argentinian weather, if you want

Storms incoming for Buenos Aires, lol.

I was scared silly of storms when I was 8 and younger. I managed to twist that into interest. By the time I was 6 i wanted to be a meteorologist even though I was still scared to death.

Uploaded my first video related to weather due to my newfounded unlimited internet. These storms were moving from north to south which made them somewhat special in that way, but they weren't severe at all. The leading edge managed to push out some wind as can be heard throughout the video.

This is still alive? Haha. I'll uh update the op sometime, having issues with my parents so internet usage is slim right now.
