Author Topic: My music won't appear ingame  (Read 1804 times)

So I got the LSD Dream Emulator soundtrack, and converted one of the music (.minipsf) into an .ogg file, put it into the Music Folder, and started the game up. Client_MenuMusic could play it, and it was on the list to enable music, but then ingame it wouldn't show up on the list.

If it helps I could supply a download of the music.

sounds like it's either too big and BL wouldn't load it ingame, or something to do with the type (stereo/mono?)

Well, it IS 3 minutes, but if I do something that's less than a minute, it also won't work

Make sure the audio type is Mono
Blockland doesnt use Stereo

How do I check this?

How do I check this?

what are you using to make the file

The file size is too big.

Needs to be smaller than 1000 KB  (1MB)

You can check this by right-clicking the .ogg and clicking "properties".

also make sure its like this

After_School_Special.ogg

instead of

After School Special.ogg

1. Make sure the file size is under 1MB.
2. Make sure that the sound type is mono, not stereo.
3. Make sure you named the sound file with NO SPACES.

I fixed it. The LSD Dream Emulator ones were too big and the other ones now work.

Nevermind. Blockland detected Stereo and deleted my music. How to I change it to Mono?

You can do so in a audio editor called Audacity
Its a pretty simple process

I turned them into Mono, they became .wav, converted them back to .ogg, now they don't even show up on the list to enable music.
