Author Topic: does anyone know what kind of questions are on a temps test?  (Read 1248 times)

also pay attention to trick questions, whre I live theres this question that goes: "What is the legal alcohol level for hose under 21?" then it says 0.08 in the answers, but really it is 0 because they are UNDER 21

soo ye

mouthwash has alcohol in it, wouldn't it be over 0 then?

Do you drink mouthwash?

If you feel like you need to study you already failed

have you been on a stupid spree lately?

No but if you can't tell that green means go and red means stop you are way too dumb to pass the test

i don't think everyone immediately knows traffic violations, how to drive in different types of weather, and what the right of way means.

There is no traffic violation for driving the same in rain as in the sun however it is stupid

As for right of way think of it as a line, if they got there first they go first unless you don't need to cut in front

I don't think this applies for the temp test but for driving in general: the speed limit is made for ideal conditions, if it's raining or it's foggy or something and it doesn't feel safe going top speed, go slower. They won't dock you.

you totally missed my point on purpose. driving isn't all about stopping and going and reading signs. it's mainly defensive, and you have to worry about the conditions of driving and the people around you.

at a stop which way do you look first

I think this is the first time I've even seen anyone worrying about this. If you've spent any more than five minutes in a car with your eyes open, you'll be fine.
The test I had to take had a bunch of questions asking very specific measurements, like how far away you stop from a schoolbus with it's lights blinking, down to the meter. That's not stuff you'll know by just sitting in a car.

exactly. it asks stuff like when aren't you allowed to change lanes, or how far from your destination do you need to use your turn signals.

yeah my test included "what's the maximum parking distance from a curb" and "what's the minimum distance that you are allowed to part from a fire hydrant." i had totally forgotten about that stuff, i just guessed on them

I just want to post how the whole "it takes a normal car traveling at 60 mph a football field to come to a complete stop" is utter bullstuff
actually to be honest most of the stopping distances in the books are bullstuff
/mini rant over
