Author Topic: does anyone know what kind of questions are on a temps test?  (Read 1250 times)

like i want to know a general idea of what's on it. i know states have different things, but i want to get an idea what i might prepare for.

do you have aids yes no

maybe things here will help?
i don't know if thats what you meant by temps or not google just gave me this

temps is the type of license you get around 16 so you are able to drive with a licensed driver i think 21 or up.

so it's like a permit for 16 year olds?

EDIT: yeah they're permits..

i guess they're called permits elsewhere, we just call them temps here for some reason.

Temporary probably. I just know that its called a 'permit' everywhere else

anyway you basically just need to know your signs, when it's okay to turn, and the fact that a solid line between lanes on a road means no passing and that dotted lines mean you're good to pass.

My state's website had a practice test if you want to see if yours does. :nes:

basic stuff like "what sign is this" and "is it ok to run down little kids if your car has a hood ornament"
or "if the speed limit is 55 what speed can you safely proceed at"

my friend told me he saw questions like"how many points can you get on your license before it's suspended for 6 months?" or "how many points can you get on your license?"

my friend told me he saw questions like"how many points can you get on your license before it's suspended for 6 months?" or "how many points can you get on your license?"
thats something even i dont know
i only knew about following distances, driving times, and road laws/rules

my written test was basically "what sign is this" "which way can you turn when in a center turn lane" "when are you allowed to turn right at an intersection"

so it's easy as forget and i don't need 6 practice tests? (according to this: http://driving-tests.org/ohio)

I think this is the first time I've even seen anyone worrying about this. If you've spent any more than five minutes in a car with your eyes open, you'll be fine.
