Author Topic: [Console.log provided]Steam version of BL unable to query master server  (Read 1047 times)

My connection keeps failing when I try to browse the server list. My internet connection(AT&T) works fine, and the non-steam version is able to connect just fine. Its only the Steam version that can't connect.

Noedit: By connection failing, I mean the popup box that appears when its unable to query the master server.

According to the console.log, you only attempted to query lan.

Nope.

It doesn't show trying to query internet IN the console for some reason.

Try this:

Open the server list window.
Type trace(1); into the console.
Hit Query Internet.
Wait for the error.
Close Blockland and post a new log.

Definitely an addon somehow preventing access to the Master Server. Heres a console.log of me actually being able to see servers with only default addons:

Noedit: Somehow, I accidentally got v20 Maps and Script_CustomMS(The thing that Port's v20 client uses) in my addon folder for the steam version of BL. After deleting them, I can connect to servers again.
