Author Topic: Kaspersky allegedly ran covert campaign to sabotage rival firms  (Read 1346 times)

and why would you do that
is there any actual proof of this? There's no documentation of this, only the word of one ex-employee who may or may not be lying
normally i'm totally cool with whistleblowers but this just sounds like the ploy of a mad employee trying to ruin the company because they got fired

safetyoli safetyoli give me the formuoli

R.I.P

They are basically Norton 2.0 now, minus the 99% disk usage.

I use common sense as an AV, but if I need to use one I use Bitdefender + Rougue Killer, Super AntiSpyware, and Malwarebytes.
For cleaning leftover stuff I use CCleaner.

what

pretty sure kaspersky is widely regarded as one of the world's best antivirus tools. most reviews i see claim it and malwarebytes as the most powerful antivirus programs.
you are literally discrediting their effectiveness because someone got fired and then told a crazy unverifiable story about shady business

so in other words: no you don't
What? Oh I get it.

Well pretty much, just avoid sketchy links, don't click any ads,and stay the hell away from cnet.

Well I may have eaten my own words here, but I guess your right, still AV software tends to impair performance and a decent one cost you a fortune.

i mean
they kinda give it to you
and it works
