Author Topic: My mom just found out she's probably going to lose her dad to cancer.  (Read 2167 times)

I don't know what to say here...

If you believe in God, or even if you're atheist, please say a quick prayer for my mom. She's having a hard time handling this, and we aren't sure how much time he has left.

How old is your grandfather?

I had to watch a nephew die to bone cancer so my heart goes out to anyone who has to suffer through that.

Old enough RIP
He said he was ready to die. The strange part is that my great grandmother, who's in her late 90s, is still alive... Both of my grandparents have joked beforehand that she would outlive them.

I have not felt said said about death ever since my dog died in 6th grade. It happens and there is no way to prevent it so don't cry because that won't change things.

crying is natural
you cant prevent death
the only thing you can do is comfort those in distress
