Author Topic: Ashley Madison Hack  (Read 3111 times)

well it looks like im in trouble

I'm seeing this story all over the place, and I could really just not give a forget about this website or the scumbags who run it.

I wish there was some lookup because I'm honestly convinced one of my family members was on there

well... not convinced, more curious

As far as I know, there is/was a lookup, but apparently the company that operates the site is issuing DMCA takedown notices to anyone who's created them.

Well there *was* a lookup but ashleymadison.com had it taken down :(
I'm certain that the leak is still up on the internet, you can download it for yourself.

The file is available on various torrent sites both on the normal Internet and on the TOR web.

If you don't want to do that, there is an ongoing thread on /b/ where you can ask someone to look up email addresses and stuff.

Most of the lookups are just going through the member file, which although it does have a 'valid' email indicator (i guess meaning they verified?), it's not really a good indication of anything.

The credit card transaction files are the ones you want to look at. Lists emails and often real names, and is an indication that the person has actually paid to chat with people.

i wanna see if my dad is on there

found out my dog was on there.  whoda thought???

I read an article about it on my local online news. Says here that there's a few people from Congress, the White House, the Senate, and the various departments (Homeland Security, Transportation, Defense, Treasury, State, Justice, etc.) who signed up for the website. This has got to be the biggest national public embarrassment in 2015.

Yeah but keep in mind that the majority of those emails are likely not 'valid'. You can sign up an account with anyones email address. Australia's PM had an account registered to his email lol

keep in mind that many of these are fakes because bots aren't required email verification

also apperantly this can lead to a punishment of a couple of homos in the middle east and africa

is the link to the leaked data still up?
i would love to get rid of those cheating bastards and their invalid marriage.
this is my favorite hack so far- karma is a bitch. you go, anonymous.
