That's actually such a dumb argument. What if you're a moderator and need to have an open inbox for people to report things happening? Having your messages unrestricted isn't an invitation for people to spam you; people who do that should be banned without question.

yeah i cant only allow friends to msg cause sometimes ppl message me about spammers on glass. that and this is the only time ive ever had this problem - most of the time messages i get from strangers are asking to get the password to my server/what im doing (and i gladly oblige them)
