That's a you problem then. Emulation wouldn't be common practice if this:

Emulators frequently work and don't forget up the emulated games being played on them. You saying they do is just you trying to illicit a response from people that enjoy emulating games; aka you're trolling.

consoles are strictly made for playing games. lately they've been trying to broaden that aspect but all in all, still about games. its specs are specifically set and manufactured for mass use to play games. PCs are made for a wide range of possibilities that stretch to the entire opposite spectrum of games, with specs that can be customized to the users choice
and even then PCs can still do more with games than consoles ever could. forget, games and their consoles are designed on PCs. how is that even comparable?
Consoles run of the same machinery as PCs, they're just locked down in terms of what the manufacturer lets you do with them. It's like saying that an iPhone and... forget I don't know, a OnePlus phone, aren't the basically same thing.
