assuming you didnt burn yourself, just scrape it off. wax congeals, so all you should have to do it scrape it, but if it's in the carpet it might be more involved than that
and if you did get burned, get some ice on there as soon as you can

some big candles will melt inside and make a tube out of themselves, or come in a jar or cup of wax which you might knock over
