I really need actually help with this ;_;
No one else has this problem but me
Does anything also happen to your toolbars?
Does it only happen RECENTLY after booting up (from shutdown/restart)?
Does it only happen when you come back from sleep?
What is
probably happening is that Windows is losing track/poofing the temp/stored file of your desktop image.
SOLUTION(S): FIX WINDOWS 7 DESKTOP WALLPAPER FROM TURNING BLACK
Solution 1: Delete the TranscodedWallpaper -
(it may be necessary to show hidden files in Folder Options).
1. Start Menu
2. Search Box: Type "TranscodedWallpaper.jpg," (w/out quotes)
3. Delete it, and Restart Windows 7.
Solution 2: Run sfc /scannow -
1. Start Menu
2. Search Box, Type: "CMD" (w/out quotes).
3. Right Click on the CMD Icon and Run As Administrator.
4. In the Command Prompt Type: "sfc /scannow," (again,w/out quotes),
5. Let Run, it will fix most Windows System Errors, Restart the PC.
OTHER POSSIBLE CAUSES/SOLUTIONS IF THE ABOVE WILL NOT WORK:
1. Windows 7 is an Illegitimate Copy: If Windows is a Pirated Copy it will cause the Wallpaper to turn black each time starting the Computer. Therefore, the solution would be to
- Purchase a Legitimate Copy,
- Or if you choose to be a THIEF, you can always download the
Windows Activator (RemoveWAT 2.2.6.0).
2. Registry Changes/Visual Performance Settings: If you have a program like e.g. PC Tuneup, it sometimes will disable certain visual features to increase performance. Useless if so in my opinion...
In fact, this was the cause for me having issues. Or causing changes to the registry in some way...The solution in this case may be simple, go to the:
- "Control Panel (Classic Settings),"
- Click on the "Ease of Access Center,"
- Then click "Make the Computer Easier to See."
- Uncheck "Remove Background Images (where available)
Windows 7 and Windows 10 probably use the same system.
Read it over, and especially try the first one.
Or you are a pirate.
