Damp would be a great ufo photographer.
"I know there's nothing in this picture, but that's because its really hard to take pictures"
10/10 would call bs again

There wasn't enough alcohol in those pictures to do anyone harm, let alone 27 people lol.

Internet cool guys. Awesome.

The more you know: if you're in an uncomfortable situation where peers are breaking the law and endangering themselves, either remove yourself from the situation or (if you feel comfortable taking such action), inform the authorities. If your sibling is drinking with a few friends in the backyard, a call to the cops is hardly warranted. Inform your parents of the situation, but calling the cops on something like that will exacerbate the situation. I will echo Ravencroft's sentiments earlier in this thread that ages 18-20 are generally alright drinking.

At the end of the day, substance makes stupid people more stupid. Do your research, educate yourself, and party safely. Understand your limits and stick to them. I say this because this community is full of teenagers coming into the age where partying and substance use is commonly experimented with.

Read up, be responsible, set your own limits and stick to them no matter what.

what else can you expect from someone with a minion avatar

About time someone mentioned this

Op you shouldn't give a stuff if people hate you for it, if I had a sister that started having a drinking problem I would call the cops just because I care about her health.

Not doing anything won't help, they won't go to county jail for drinking, seriously just call the cops, don't dial 911, just find the local number for the cops.

Well where I live 18+ is the legal drinking age, do I notice an abuse problem in general? Yes. Would it be different if the drinking age was 21? No, people will still be stupid and abuse it like forget.

So I agree, 18+ is an ok age to drink.

I'm sorry but all of you who recommended OP to call 911 because you're "concerned for her health" have probably never actually called the loving cops in your lives, because stuff like that is diabolically stupid. You do not call local emergency law enforcement to come book your sister and her friends for having a few beers in their backyards because you are 'cornered for their health'. You call a hotline for that stuff. If you tell the emergency authorities that you have several teenagers in your backyard drinking alcohol you're going to get your sister bodyslammed into the concrete by Officer Butch after being pepper sprayed by Sergeant Protein-Shake so she can get sent to Juvenile Hall and have her record permanently forgeted up. Not to mention your parents are also probably liable in which case social services will get involved and forget up OP's life as well. That's not 'being concerned for her health' that's loving her life up because you're jealous that she has friends and you don't.

Tell her school or some stuff if you wanna be a nark that bad. Police have bigger problems to deal with than a bunch of underaged teens pretending to be drunk at a miniature house party.

EDIT: Read through the thread and got to the ziptie part and the leg stabbing. Laughed my ass off. This is what happens when noobs are under-educated about alcohol, this is not how booze works. 1/10 zedrow-tier baitstuff got me to reply.

10/10 'police is worse than satan' mentality is amazing.
I don't know what you're getting at here, he is right.
Except for the body slamming pepper spray part, as the cops would have no reason to use such force (and likely wouldn't even care much for the call) unless yes, they were just richardheads akin to Satan.
Realistically they would just break up the party and tell everyone to go home, chances are the dgaf about who is doing what unless there is some major alcohol being supplied to minors because cops have priorities and a few teenagers getting tipsy is about a 0.5/10 on that scale.

10/10 'i have never seen a police officer out of my middle class school office' mentality. Good job jumping to conclusions though.

When you call 911 they respond to neutralize a threat and to enforce the law. If you tell the police your sister is currently engaging in illegal activity, they will come breaking down your doors to take her away. This is not being concerned for your sisters health. This is enacting justice on a criminal, and as good as it sounds, it's not something you do to your loving family, especially if your motive is constructive rehabilitation.

Not saying they would, but you take a house party with a bunch of un-experienced minors doing illegal stuff and throw a squad car in the mix, stuff can get rowdy. People panic and people scream and run. I'm not saying it'd happen, but you're definitely inviting it to happen.

i am pretty sure damp doesn't live in 'murica so you cannot really compare the reaction that police officers in america would have to the reaction police officers in canada would have in this situation.

you are the only person who has mentioned america on this page. i live in australia

you are the only person who has mentioned america on this page. i live in australia

oh i thought that the 'police is bad' mentality was an american exclusive.

Maybe 'parenting my sister isn't a job for emergency law enforcement' mentality is an australian exclusive.

haha what the forget are you talking about
have you ever called the police? you know, outside of detroit

I meant it in the figurative sense, not literally breaking down OP's door. Calling the cops is a highly invasive measure for such a disproportionately petty incident.
