they came home at six

unlucky my sister cleaned the mess by then

so what about all this evidence or whatever

i agree with everyone who said not to call the cops. police officers are completely unreliable and some are desperate to use violence. they could arrest your sister causing massive legal fees upon the family or even get child protective services involved since the parents left underaged children in the home and went on vacation. or they could just break it up. its not even that big of a deal.

if violence erupts or you feel unsafe then yeah ofc but i wouldn't tell them to shut off the party. i'd just say "those two are fighting break them up"

but everyone needs to get drunk at a party before they turn 21 so why get the cops involved when they do

police officers are completely unreliable and some are desperate to use violence.
i am now convinced no one on this forum has ever met a police officer, let alone called the police

i literally don't see how this is untrue in ANY way. a lot of police officers are overly violent.

One example: My autistic brother was pulled over (speeding) when I was in the car. He stutters a lot and the police officer asked if he was stuttering because he was on drugs. He said no. The dude said he was gonna have a drug dog sniff the car. Later he said "YUP IT SMELLED DRUGS I HAVE REASON TO SEARCH THE VEHICLE" and he tore apart the car looking for narcotics. There weren't any.

I've called the police twice. Both times they were very nice--and the officers they dispatched. Other times I was attacked by officers because they thought I was concealing a weapon when I wasn't. It's totally unpredictable and if you think there aren't violent cops you are lying to yourself.

i've never had an encounter with the police in my country but i can sure as hell say i can rely on them if i need them

How can you say that? In my experience, any time I contacted the police they were helpful and kind. The receiving end is the unpredictable half.

Also, US cops are more violent than in other nations. In the UK they don't even carry guns.

its extremely rare to see anything regarding police brutality on UK news that isnt from the states

they most certainly do
its very uncommon but if its necessary they do have guns

So because you've had a couple bad run-ins with cops. How does that equate to all cops being bad? Your view on the matter is really childish.

there are violent cops. there are violent people. that is a completely different thing to say from

i'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you didn't mean to make that a generalisation, but if i'm wrong, please clarify so we can all ignore you

Did you read the post? I'm genuinely curious. I actually stated that most of the time they are lovely to work with. I just said they are unreliable especially when you are the one having the police called on you.

By "Police officers are totally unpredictable" I'm saying "You never know if you will get a bad cop or a good cop so try to avoid it altogether". I'm not saying "all police officers are nutjobs who randomly turn violent".

LOL

I'm not really sure how this is relevant to what I said, but you're right. I don't support teenage drinking.

Okay, then hopefully you agree that if a kid doesn't want to be in trouble, then perhaps they should...simply put...not drink.
